One day a dutchman invented the shovel. By next friday afternoon he and his fellow dutchmen had built about 2000km of dikes, a dozen polders the size of Greenland and a nice little flowergarden for every second mansion between The Hague and Arnhem. Saturday, everyone felt a little sore.

There were even plans to build a tunnel under the Northsea to connect to Britain, which are still exhibited at the Amsterdam Royal Dutch Shovel Museum (children enter at half the price every second wednesday).
To celebrate all these remarkable feats we offer this shirt of very high quality and durable cloth. Want to built your own dike? A polder in your swimming pool? This is the shirt to wear when swinging a shovel. Or just to show off the muscles you got from swinging shovels when aprés-shovelling.
